"How often we forget all time, when lone,
Admiring Nature's universal throne,
Her woods, her wilds, her waters, the intense
Reply of hers to our intelligence." - George Gordon, Lord Byron, 1823 [The Island].
I am just a regular person when it comes to using a camera. I get lucky sometimes, however, and I think this photo represents one of those lucky moments!

I think that you are far too modest. Great shot!

What the heck is this?? It's a cool photo - I'm just not sure what it is??
Grandma, thank you very much!
Ollie, it is a broken moon snail on the shore at the ocean among the rocks and 3 or 4 different species of sea weed.
Thanks for stopping by! ~karen
This shot makes me want to go to the seashore to see what I can find. But not today. I live too far inland. :)
I love this composition! Great colors and textures!
