My World Tuesday

Island Time

"How often we forget all time, when lone,
Admiring Nature's universal throne,
Her woods, her wilds, her waters, the intense
Reply of hers to our intelligence."

- George Gordon, Lord Byron, 1823 [The Island].

Some people seem to be so afraid of being all alone. I am not one of them. To be at one with a kayak and nature sounds sublime.

You do have a nice area to explore, I went back through June.I wondered if you wear a wet suit in cooler weather to kayak.I live on the water when not out in the prairie.I just sent a card to Blockhouse, NS. I would love to get up there this spring.Stop on back.

Lovely shot! It oozes peace and warmth, guaranteed to chase thoughts of snow far, far away.

Beautiful shot of the water, as are your shots on Baleine Peninsula! Interestingly, my notion of a hollow is a narrow mountain valley with a small stream.
