Other Egypt Falls Treasures

The magnificent waterfall wasn't the only treasure
that beautiful fall day.

Along the trail were some little treats
to stop and admire,
and take a breath!

These little moths were flitting around everywhere.

I love mosses and lichens!

An opportunistic fern.

These were lined up like stacked coins
along the entire length of this fallen tree.

Have a great day!

Sew or go on an adventure Karen, no contest really was there. Very interesting photos, the moth must be hardy.

I loved all the green in this post...especially the lichens and the tiny mushroom in the moss!

Thankyou for your comment on my mountain ash blog, a surprise as I am only just starting that one up. Thought I might be an only one that took photo's of lichens and fungi - I love their colours and structures.... I am also at ashbecreative.blogspot.com more often and my question would be can I not have the sewing as well as the trip? :-)

Mosses and lichens look fascinating. I know so little about them, though. Maybe this will be the year that I learn more about them.
