February Daydreams

Right about now,
I'm missing
this!

An afternoon paddle
around Canso, NS
and onto a deserted Dover, NS beach.

Although this trip
occurred
during the hottest and buggiest it's ever been
during the whole 9 years
I've been visiting Cape Breton,
I now look back on it with fond memories.

See the little island just below Louisdale
in the upper right hand corner?
That's where my home is!!

No, we did not paddle from there!!
It's about 32 miles across the bay...
just a tad bit too far!
But it's closer than driving!!
Takes about 1.5 hrs. to drive to Canso.

Right about now that looks very inviting---especially since it is snowing outside. Can't wait for summer to come so I can complain about the hot weather and wishing fall would come with cooler weather.LOL Nola

Hi Karen
Looks like an Idyllic place real peace and quiet. Thank for the comment you left, concerning your comment problem I had this for a while then I switched to Google Chrome and its been fine. Chrome does take a bit of getting used to though.

At 0 degrees and a new four inches of snow, I could use some of that also.

Spring is coming but its not close enough for you to go paddling I have visited the area once and dream of going back. We spend a couple weeks on Gaspe then went down. Beautiful is your home.
